The Jargon Buster

Digital marketing terms, in plain English

Synergy. Programmatic. Omnichannel. The marketing world loves a word that sounds clever and means very little. We think that is daft. So we built a free Jargon Buster that translates the nonsense into plain English.

Search any marketing or tech term and get a clear, jargon-free explanation, with Alfred on hand to add his thoughts. Whether you are decoding an agency's proposal or just wondering what 'schema markup' actually is, you will get a straight answer in seconds.

Use it whenever someone baffles you with buzzwords. Bookmark it, share it, and keep it handy for the next person who says 'let's circle back on that'. Plain speaking is the best defence against waffle.

Why we built it

We talk to people in plain language because we have nothing to hide. If a marketing agency cannot explain what it does without a dictionary, that tells you something. The Jargon Buster is our small contribution to a clearer industry.
