This was a project full of technical puzzles. But perhaps the most significant challenge was migrating more than a decade of legacy publishing data.



The historic database contained enormous volumes of content, subscriber information and metadata accumulated over many years of operation. Safely processing and validating the information required entirely new tooling and workflows.

Rather than relying on off-the-shelf migration solutions, we developed custom tools capable of reading, processing and sanitising the legacy data in manageable stages.



This approach reduced risk, improved reliability and ensured that years of valuable editorial content made a safe transition to the new platform.
