  • 90 percent of the Google Ads accounts we audit are wasting at least 30 percent of their budget. And most of them have no idea. Google Ads is brilliant...

It genuinely is. You can put your business in front of someone the exact moment they are searching for what you sell. There is nothing else like it.

But here is the problem. Google makes it very easy to set up an ad campaign and very hard to set up a good one. Those are two completely different things.

We see the same mistakes every time. Broad match keywords that mean you are paying for clicks from people who were searching for something completely different. No negative keywords.

Landing pages that have nothing to do with the ad. Conversion tracking that is either broken or was never set up in the first place. My favourite one?

A business spending £2,000 a month on Google Ads with no conversion tracking. They had been running it for a year. I asked how they knew it was working.

They said, and I quote, 'We get phone calls sometimes.' Sometimes. Twelve months. £24,000.

Sometimes. Our ads specialist Jared runs every one of our client campaigns. He is the person who sits in the account every single day, not once a month.

He also has a habit of finding wasted spend within the first 48 hours of looking at a new account, which is either impressive or depressing depending on how you look at it. If you do not know what PPC, CPC, or ROAS mean, we also built a Jargon Buster on our site. 120 marketing and tech terms explained in plain English.

Because acronyms should not be a barrier to understanding where your money is going. If you are running Google Ads right now and you cannot tell me exactly what your cost per lead is, stop the campaign. Seriously.

Stop it. Then come talk to us.
