Here is how to know before you spend a penny. Everyone has an app idea. Your uncle has one.
Your accountant has one. The person sitting next to you on the train right now probably has one. Most of them never happen because people Google 'how much does an app cost' and the answer scares them into doing nothing.
The reason the answer is scary is because it is vague. 'It depends.' 'It could be anywhere from 10,000 to 500,000.' That is not a quote. That is a guess wearing a suit.
The cost depends on three things. Complexity, platforms, and integrations. A simple app that does one thing well on one platform?
Tens of thousands. A complex app that does many things on iOS and Android with payment processing, user accounts, and admin dashboards? That is where you get into the higher figures.
